DePrimo, 67, of Dunmore, died Saturday morning at home. He was married to the former Debra Searfoss. The couple had celebrated their 28th anniversary last year.

Born in Dunmore, son of the late Joseph and Carmela Cali DePrimo, he attended Scranton Technical High School. He was a past member of the Throop United Methodist Church and before retirement, he was employed as a supervisor for the Scranton Garment Co. Also surviving are two sons, Salvatore and Joseph, both at home; and two daughters, Elizabeth, at home; and Holly, Georgia; a brother, Joseph and wife, Roberta, Taylor; three sisters, Grace Bisignani and husband, Robert, Scranton; Rosalie Mola-nar and husband, Romand, Scranton; and Josephine DePrimo, Clarks Summit; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Animal Shelter and left with a mission. Fueled by his passion about animals, the Blakely man wanted to organize a fundraiser to help support the shelter.

On June 8, Mr. Mancuso led a pack of motorcycle riders from Electric City Harley-Davidson in Dickson City to A.J.'s Club Soda in Blakely, as part of the annual Friends of the Griffin Pond Animal Shelter ride. The event, which also featured a post-ride cookout, live music and raffle prizes, raised more than $11,000, Mr. Mancuso said. All proceeds benefit the shelter's veterinary care fund.

The nonprofit provides shelter, food and medical care to about 6,000 animals each year. "It was a tremendous showing of support from the community, and it more than doubled what we raised last year," Mr. Mancuso said. "Next year is going to be even bigger." Various works of art decorated shops and sidewalks on June 14. "We're trying to get people back onto the streets of Jessup," said Sheila Mc-Donough, who handles public relations for the Art Loop. She said the event had a good turnout, and just about every downtown business participated.

LJ1P'T, Oil Work crews will be in town starting on Monday, June 23, 2014 and continuing through Wednesday, June 25, 2014. A "SMOKE TEST" survey will assist our inspection crews in locating breaks and defects in our sewer system. The smoke you see coming from the vent stacks on houses or holes in the ground is NON-TOXIC, NON-STAINING, HAS NO ODOR, WHITE TO GRAY IN COLOR AND CREATES NO FIRE HAZARD. The smoke should not enter your home unless you have defective plumbing or dried up drain traps. It is advisable for the home owner to pour a gallon of water into each drain trap of floors, sinks, showers, and tubs prior to our testing.

If smoke enters your home there is a good reason to assume that sewer gases may also be entering your home or business. If you are not home and discover smoke when you return, please call us at 570-586-9316. IMPORTANT! If there is any individual in your home or business who has respiratory problems and is immobile, please notify us at 570-586-9316 prior to testing. STORE HOURS: 9 A.M. 8 P.M.
